WCTC Wins Three Rivers Association Title, Qualifies for Nationals

The Wolf Creek Track Club (WCTC) participated in the USATF Three Rivers Association Cross Country Championship this afternoon at Coopers Lake Campground in Slippery Rock, PA. The club competed in the Open Championship. The 5k race started around 1:00 PM. At the start of the race, it was about 50 degrees and sunny.

Ryan Budnik claimed the Three Rivers Association individual title. Budnik was followed by Andrew Mascio who placed 2nd overall. Mascio was closely followed by Brandon Wise who took 3rd overall. Simon DeAngelo placed 4th overall. Ben English rounded out the Wolf Creek Track Club’s scoring five. With the victory, the Wolf Creek Track Club qualified for the USATF National Club Cross Country Championships which will be held on Saturday, December 10th at Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee, Florida.
