    10K Runners will line up first, followed by the 5K Runners and then walkers. The Race Chair will sound the horn for the race to begin. Please follow the signs and volunteers for directions

    Run of the Dead 2025 is a fundraiser for the Center of Music & Performing Arts Southwest (COMPÁS). The mission of COMPÁS is to provide high-quality performing arts training and cultural experiences with an emphasis on youth socio-emotional development. The program preserves the Latinx heritage of Southwest Detroit and celebrates its diversity through the arts. Your sponsorship and partnership will support this mission for years to come.

    The Run provides 5k and 10k options. The USATF-Certified event will celebrate the Mexican holiday of Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead). In commemoration of the annual Día de los Muertos holiday, that honors deceased relatives and loved ones, an ofrenda (altar) will be created and displayed by a community leader. Participants will celebrate by wearing traditional face-paint, flowers and attire. Enjoy light bites, vendors and entertainment by COMPAS.

  • Harvest Moon Race

    The 18th Annual Harvest Moon 10 Mile Run and 5k Run/Walk will take place on Saturday, November 15th. The race starts and finishes at St. Philip’s Church at 1629 Beaver Grade Road in Moon Township. Races will be chip-timed by Wolf Creek Race Management. EMS will be on hand for major injuries. The race will take place rain or shine. T-shirts are not guaranteed for registrants after October 15, 2025.

    Medals and a $50 gift card to Pro Bike + Run (North Park) will be given to each of the Top 3 Overall Male & Female 5K Runners!

    Plus the Top 3 Male & Female 5K Runners in each of the following age categories will each receive award medals: 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70&Over.

    The Harmony Silvester Celebration is a family-focused event in Historic Harmony that honors its German heritage by celebrating Silvester (New Year’s Eve) on German time-6:00 PM (midnight in Germany). Kicking off the event, there is a 5K race starting at 3:30 PM, followed by a 1 Mile Fun Run at 4:15. At 6 PM, we will count down in German to a ball-drop, followed by fireworks and singing of Auld Lang Syne. Other activities include vendors, and a Christmas tree and wreath toss.
