The Lake Wilhelm Marathon & Half Marathon takes place along the stunning shores of one of Pennsylvania’s largest lakes! Known for its Bald Eagle viewing, expansive lake views, and scenic bike path, Maurice K. Goddard State Park is a must visit destination! The Marathon course is USATF Certified and a Boston Marathon Qualifier.
Run across the Shenango Dam! The Hermitage Lions Club is hosting the "5th Annual Lions Give A Dam 5k'" on Saturday, June 10th at 9:00 AM. The start will be on High Street near Thelma's Sports Nook and will go up the hill toward the Shenango Dam. After crossing the dam, the course will follow the Trout Island Trail to a turnaround point and come back.
The 5k Run is an out and back course. It will start and finish close to the North Park Boathouse. While it is mostly flat, there are some rolling and gradual hills. The course is in the midst of beautiful North Park, and for the most part, runs along Lake Shore Drive.
The 1 Mile Walk route is also an out and back course and has the same start and finish points as the 5k race. Walkers will start about 5 minutes after runners. All walkers must be registered for the walk.
You gotta put this one on your race calendar. The Spring Classic Sprint Triathlon is a race that has been a staple on many triathlete’s race calendars. The Spring Classic is a great race for beginner triathletes who might be nervous about the open water idea yet provides a competitive environment for seasoned triathletes. The race is well organized, supported and sure to become one of your go to races season after season.

Western Pennsylvania and Beaver County are beautiful in June, and we can’t wait to host a Junior, Youth, and NTDR Cup event. Along with some fun age group races.
5K RACE IS LOCATED AT MORAINE STATE PARK SOUTH SHORE. A FUN EVENING EVENT BY THE LAKE. COME HELP OUT AND RUN / WALK THE EVENT SPONSORED BY THE SLIPPERY ROCK HIGH SCHOOL CROSS COUNTRY BOOSTERS. MUST BE SIGNED UP BY JUNE 1ST TO GET A SHIRT. There will be a 1 mile fun run/walk for kids 12 and under beginning at 6:30 pm.
Experience New River Gorge National Park through this one-of-a-kind event! Starting at the Charlie McCoy Town Park in Fayetteville, West Virginia, this challenging trail race goes into the National Park, through the forest, and loops back to the start, offering views of the river hundreds of feet below. With significant elevation gain, each race offers a difficult yet scenic course. The New River Gorge National Park offers a wide variety of activities and sites to see post-race as well!
Hell Hath No Hurry is a project of the Greater Pittsburgh Road Runners club that is used to showcase the trails of Settler's Cabin Park to runners of all abilities and levels. The multiple race distances are offered to challenge all types of runners and walkers with an individual challenge that gets them outside of their comfort zone.
We are pleased to announce the Freedom Run 5K will return this year! Join us as we celebrate the 10th year for this race held in Chester, WV on July 4, 2023 at 9:00 am. This event continues to grow each year and we anticipate another great turnout this July!

The Sweetest Race is an event for the entire family with all you can eat ice cream sundaes served after the race. All proceeds benefit both the North East High School Scholarship Fund in memory of Debbie and Laurl O'Neal and the North East High School Cross Country Team. Prizes will be given to the overall 5k walk and 5k run winners in both the male and female divisions. Individual male and female for the 5k run only will be given to winners in the following age groups: 60+, 50-59, 40-49, 30-39, 20-29, 14-19, 10-13, and Under 10.
