Join the excitement at Martha's Run 10k, a family-fun event benefitting The Martha Fund! On April 8th, lace up your running shoes and get ready to tackle the scenic and challenging course through the tree-lined streets of Mount Lebanon's historic neighborhoods.
Not only will you be able to push yourself to reach a new personal best, but you will also be supporting a great cause. The Martha Fund is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the development and maintenance of playgrounds throughout the Greater Pittsburgh Area. Your participation in Martha's Run 10k will help make a difference in the lives of children and families in your community.
The closed-road course is designed to provide a unique and memorable running experience, with rolling hills through scenic neighborhoods. Cadet Council 5k
The Bison Battalion Cadet Council is excited to host its 2nd 5k run. This race will take place on the Buffalo Valley Rail trail on Sunday April 23th at 11 am. 1/3 of all profits will be donated to the local veteran support organization JFT Recovery and Veterans Support Services and to The Wounded Warrior Project, all remaining proceeds will be utilized by the Bison Battalion to enhance Cadet training experience.

Foxwall & AVFD Run For The Hill of It presented by UPMC St. Margaret Hospital
FoxWall EMS and The Aspinwall Volunteer Fire Department are hosting the Run For The Hill Of It. This 1-mile competitive race and family fun walk consists of running up one of the steepest hills in Pittsburgh…this hill being Center Avenue in the heart of Aspinwall. Runners will start at the Aspinwall Borough Building (200 Block of Commercial Ave.) and run to the upper fire station (top of Center Ave) and circle back and end at Fireman’s Memorial Park. After the race there will be a family friendly atmosphere with excitement for all ages. Included in the ticket price will be a race shirt, complimentary food trucks, a balloon artist, face painter, dj, blow up obstacle course and slide, and more.
