September 4-10 is National Suicide Prevention Awareness week, and the month of September is nationally known as National Recovery Month. There is hope if you or someone you know is struggling with substance abuse. To help promote suicide awareness and recovery, we are excited to announce the 3rd annual Live 4 Tomorrow Today 5k+ which will take place on Saturday September 2, 2023, at Dawson Grange Community Fairgrounds in Dawson, PA. This 3.5-mile run/walk is a family-friendly event that is sure to attract runners of all levels. Families and friends are welcome to run/walk in remembrance of or in honor of their loved one or individual.
Coming to terms with the reasons and the stigma associated with mental health and substance use often make it hard to cope with, which is why all the support is needed.
We invite you to join in the fun and promoting suicide awareness and recovery by becoming a Live 4 Tomorrow Today Sponsor, volunteer, or register as a participant.

Time is our most valuable gift. We never know how much of it we have, but we all have the opportunity to make it meaningful. Over the last decade, we at District Running Collective have taken our time and made it count.
Our community is more than miles logged and pace charts, it is a lineage that extends from Hackney to Berlin, Chicago to Toronto, New York City to the Baltimore Harbor – and from the lowest depths of Death Valley to the highest peaks of Mt. Killington.
Before brand sponsorships, we were here. Before running marathons or “running for life” was cool, we were here. In the moments where the future of our community, city, country, and world were insufferable and uncertain, we were here. And we are still here, rooted in our collective belief that each person holds the power to redefine their impossible every day.
The number 10 represents hope, guidance, and completion (but our story isn't over yet). This is the beginning of the next chapter. For with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. Tenfold.
