Join us at Oglebayfest weekend, Sunday October 5th for our 0.5k Beer Dash! And yes, you read that correctly. This is a zero-point-five-kilometer (0.5k) event, a fun run around Schenk Lake. Head out around the Schenk Lake 'course' and back; just try not to spill your beer, it's bad for the grass! Go whatever pace you like - no matter what there’s a beer waiting for you at the finish line! The winners will be determined by a combination of their time and by the amount left in their mug.

The Monsters at the Mall Race Weekend partners with the Salvation Army to provide funding for the Coats for Kids Program! This event will feature two exciting races for all ages, both taking place on Saturday, October 25th, 2025. We will kick off the weekend with the Eddie Morrison Mile run/walk which will take place at the Ohio Valley Mall at 8:30 am. Edna Morrison, or "Eddie", as we know her, loved to hear about our races. She always asked about everything going on with the Monsters at the Mall 5k and would even start the race for us for the first two years. She was one of the most beautiful and giving people that we’ve ever known, and she would do anything for anybody. We’re proud to host this 1 mile race in her memory! The Monsters at the Mall 5k run/walk will begin at 9:05 am, as participants dressed in their scariest and silliest costumes will start at the rear entrance of the mall with an exciting finish inside Boscov’s court!
